W USA z nową siłą wybuchły akcje protestacyjne przeciwko samowoli policyjnej. Masowe demonstracje odbyły się w wielu miastach po tym, jak poinformowano o kolejnych zabójstwach przez funkcjonariuszy ciemnoskórych mieszkańców.

NBC: w Kalifornii 11 policjantów brutalnie pobiło zatrzymanego
Kilkaset osób, oburzonych brutalnością i bezkarnością funkcjonariuszy, wyszło na ulicę Nowego Jorku. Zebrały się na wiec pod zarządem policji, później zablokowały ruch na Moście Brooklińskim. Niepokoje przerodziły się w zamieszki. Ponad 30 osób zostało zatrzymanych. Liczne akcje protestacyjne ogarnęły także San Francisco, Chicago i jeszcze prawie 30 dużych miast w 18 stanach. Uczestnicy demonstracji żądali sprawiedliwego śledztwa w sprawie wszystkich zajść.

Emerytowany pracownik CIA przyznał się do zabójstwa Marilyn Monroe
Powodem do akcji protestacyjnej stały się trzy przypadki, które miały miejsce w ubiegłym tygodniu. W Karolinie Północnej policjant ośmiokrotnie strzelił w plecy uciekającego bezbronnego czarnoskórego. W Oklahomie starszy policjant ochotnik pomylił broń obezwładniającą z pistoletem i zastrzelił podejrzanego podczas aresztowania. Natomiast w Kalifornii 10 oficerów policji w ciągu dwóch minut biło leżącego na ziemi zatrzymanego.
